Lewis' commissioning service at Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Prayer was led by Pastor Goodman and Brother Bob Landis of MTT Ministries. MTT is a wonderful ministry to expose college students to the mission field. Lewis traveled with MTT on his first trip to New Zealand.

Deborah and Elizabeth both enjoy homeschool. Kim uses A Beka and works hard with a schedule to meet our girl's specific educational needs. We have our girls tested by an outside source each year, Elizabeth's will begin this year. Each year, Deborah's testing has shown her to be 3 years ahead of the average using the Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Achievement.

Kim and the girls enjoy working on crafts throughout the year. Each year they enter exhibits in Shelby's, Cleveland County Fair. In 2009, Deborah won 1st place for her quilt, and Elizabeth was honorable mentioned as her age was not a competition age. They both won several 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons this year and past years. Kim won many each year also.
